

Our service helps potato and tomato farmers prevent Late Blight outbreaks by sending out alerts with detailed spraying advice at times when the crop is at risk. The alerts are based on a risk disease model developed by world-renowned scientists from Wageningen University and is powered by daily satellite imagery and hourly weather data.
Client intake: Client details like telephone number and field boundaries of crops to be monitored are recorded into our database so that data can be acquired.
Data acquisition: Satellites record images on a daily basis to record crop biomass increase and weather parameters are recorded over the crop fields on a hourly basis.
Risk model: The disease risk model is ran operationally, generating hourly reports on potential risk events concerning late blight outbreaks over client fields.
Push alerts: In case of late blight risk, farmers are send push alerts (e.g. through Whatsapp, Signal or SMS), detailing the exact action to take including timing, type of agent and dosage.
